Not your usual bride.

Why don't you try: Dark Lips

Why don't you try: Dark Lips

Planning a winter wedding allows you to play with luxurious colours, fabrics and details with no high risk of ending up too flamboyant; after all, we're all used to Christmas extravagant decorations.

Gold, burgundy and emerald are your best bets when organising the decoration, flowers and even the makeup. In fact, opting for dark burgundy lips can add extra points of old Hollywood glamour, a breath of fresh air to all the wannabe innocent-looking brides. There's nothing wrong with turning into a femme fatale for one night or, even better, maintaining such an attitude even on your wedding night.

If you decide to give this look a go, it's important to avoid any other unnecessary details for the rest of the makeup. In other words, keep it simple; a touch of mascara, a bit of blush and highlight and that's it. There's a fine line between fabulous and tacky and you definitely don't want to find yourself on the dark side.

Don't forget girl, embracing your individuality and accepting who you are is the first step to looking breathtaking AF on your special (and carefully planned) special day.
