Otaduy: 70s Glitter Glamour

Otaduy: 70s Glitter Glamour

If we could time travel like Domhnall Gleeson in the movie 'About Time', we would definitely visit the 70s. All that glitter and mirror balls that make this decade so fun, the glamorous endless parties, David Bowie and Studio 54 really make our hearts skip a beat. Now, if we wanted the same sparkly, Bianca Jagger effect on our wedding dress, we would certainly trust Caroline Otaduy and her grunge spirit.

Glamour and disco are two of the main sources of inspiration for the new Otaduy collection, called ‘I Do’. The other is a series of women from different eras who the designer admires for their strength and creativity, ranging from Lena Dunham to Charlotte Brontë, including figures like Miranda July, Tamara de Lempicka and Frida Kahlo.

A bit refreshing to get inspired by real, interesting and passionate women rather than delicate-looking Disney princesses, don't you think?
