Charlotte Mills: wedding tradition with a fun twist

Charlotte Mills: wedding tradition with a fun twist

To us, finding a great pair of bridal shoes is more difficult than finding The Dress. That's why we can't help but be surprised every time we discover a brilliant designer that creates dreamy shoes in reasonable prices.

Our latest obsession is Charlotte Mills who, for the record, hand-finishes each pair with an original silver sixpence, while the leather sole is embossed with the phrase 'Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe'. We know - ''awww'', right?

You know what's even cuter? The fact that each pair comes with a lovely envelope (your 'something borrowed') which you should return after your wedding day, along with a picture of your shoes. Also, the boxes and insock logo are your 'something blue'. So there you have it: the whole tradition that accompanies every bride-to-be in one pair of shoes!
