Bo & Luca: Bohemian Dream
If Florence Welch was a wedding dress, she'd definitely be a Bo & Luca one. With such a strong gypsy, bohemian attitude and clear 70's inspiration behind every single collection, it's no wonder the resemblance is so unique. In fact, born from beginnings of nomadic travel and influenced by undying affinities with the romance of bohemia and the nostalgia for days gone by, the brand’s signature luxe design aesthetic is grounded in uncomplicated styling and easy elegance.
Rewriting the rules of bridal design and not driven by either trends or tradition, these are the gowns that tell an epic story – the story of the wearer and her loves. Comfort and individuality are key focus points for designer Shannon Pittman, who hand-beads her couture-like pieces in a wonderful atelier in India, where each bead is hand placed on the finest silk by local master craftsman over a three month process.
As for the collection itself, we can admit it has stolen our hearts. Those delicate spaghetti straps, the timeless, creamy colours and the general laid-back mood seem like a dream that will fit brilliantly with a bohemian-themed wedding that looks more like a festival rather than a formal event.
